   The word Power stands for PowerPC…so maybe no PowerPC chips, no Power in its name…

   Actually the first PowerPC PowerBook was the 5300; all the ones before that, like the 100 series, the Duo and the 500 series, had 680×0 chips in them.

   So “Power” doesn’t necessarily mean PowerPC.

   Why don’t they just call it iBook Pro? MacBook sounds big.
